Emergency Management Director Matt Stratton gave an update on the track and intensity of Hurricane Francine. Harrison County (including the five cities) is under tropical storm warning. Recommendation a) closing beach; b) releasing Harrison County staff early Wednesday with the return of a late arrival Thursday; c) coordinate with DHS, Red Cross and Harrison County's team to open three county shelters (Lobouy Shelter, County Farm Road Shelter and Saucier-Lizana Shelter) and request the City of Gulfport to open Orange Grove Community Center Shelter. No emergency number received yet from the State issued by FEMA.
