The Sheriff reported that 809 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. These numbers include 34 juveniles (eleven in Juvenile Detention with nine from Harrison County and two from Hancock County), 232 state inmates, 17 federal inmates, with 37 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility.
