The Sheriff reported that 816 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. These numbers include 80 misdemeanors, 35 juveniles (eleven in Juvenile Detention with nine from Harrison County, one from Stone County and one from Hancock County), 221 state inmates, 26 federal inmates, with 61 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility.
