After receiving comments from Dr. Jennifer Caldwell with Memorial Hospital expressing her concerns about recurring issues of neglect and safety of infants treated at the hospital and no response from CPS on calls made to them about these cases, especially on weekends and holidays, Dr. Caldwell suggested the need to create a “Blue Ribbon Disciplinary Committee. After full discussion, the Board adopted an ORDER creating a Blue-Ribbon Committee on Child Protection within Harrison County. [DETAILED ORDER FOLLOWS AS ATTACHMENT 1.]
