The Sheriff reported that 788 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. These numbers include 18 juveniles (13 in Juvenile Detention with ten from Harrison County, two from Hancock County and one from Stone County), 235 state inmates, 24 federal inmates, with 46 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility.
