The Sheriff reported that 760 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. These numbers include 70 misdemeanors, 29 juveniles (sixteen in Juvenile Detention with fifteen from Harrison County and one from Hancock County), 236 state inmates, 24 federal inmates, with 65 inmates ready for transfer to a state facility.
