After full discussion, The Board adopted an ORDER approving the appeal filed by David Niolet & Raymond Scurfield and overturning the decision of the Planning Commission's decision to approve Case File 2402HC027 for a Zoning Map Amendment & Conditional Use Permit filed by Gulf Coast Development & Design, LLC for Mount Zion Methodist Church requesting approval to change the zoning district classification of a 19.41-acre parcel of land. The property is currently zoned as an A-1 (General Agriculture) District. The request is to change the zoning district classification to the R-1 (Low Density Residential) District for the purpose of developing a single-family residential subdivision with 30 lots as shown on the site plan.
