ORDER acknowledging receipt and adopting the 2023 Mississippi Hurricane Evacuation Study, published by the US Army Corps of Engineers, as recommended by Matt Stratton, EMA Director. This 2023 Study was produced with input from federal, state, and local emergency management agencies, and it outlines three updated Hurricane Evacuation Zones (A, B, and C) to better match storm surge hazards modeled in the study.
