- Consideration to approve a Professional Services Agreement with Premier Insights, Inc. in the amount of $32,000.00 to provide an updated economic impact analysis of the planned parks and recreation improvements.
- Continue conducting a Public Hearing to consider the adoption of a Resolution and Order adjudicating property located at 215 Louis Wilson Drive as a menace to the public health, safety, and welfare pursuant to Mississippi Code Section 21-19-11 and authorizing cleanup, securing, demolition, removal, and abatement as allowed by law. (This item was continued from the August 17 regular board meeting.)
- Consideration of a resolution adopting the tax levy for the City of Brandon ad valorem taxes for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
- Accept the letter of resignation from Dalton Runnels - Public Works Laborer III - effective August 28, 2026.
- Consideration of the Rankin County Emergency Operations Center Burn Building Training Facility, located on Rankin County property currently used as the County recycling facility, including the following:<br data-pasted="true"><br>1. Approval of the site plan and authorization to issue the building permit, subject to compliance with all applicable City requirements. 2. Waiver of the associated City building permit fees of $800.00.
- Consideration to approve a funding match for Brandon Main Street in efforts to secure grant funding up to $500,000 for the improvement of pedestrian street lighting on the following streets: Dining St, College St, Black St, North St, Timber St and Mary Ann Dr in the 2027 fiscal year.
