  5. Consideration to approve a quote from MPH Industries in the amount of $8,435.00 as the lowest and best quote received, to purchase radars for the new patrol units. A second quote was received from On-Duty Depot in the amount of $8,735.00.
  6. Consideration to approve a quote from Motorola Solutions in the amount of $17,150.00 as the lowest and best quote received, to purchase and install radios for the new patrol units. A second quote was received from Comsouth in the amount of $17,151.92.
  7. Consideration to accept a quote from Jackson Communications in the amount of $5,800.00 as the lowest and best quote received, to purchase partitions for the new patrol units. A second quote was received from ​Ricks Pro Truck in the amount of $7,875.00.
  8. Consideration to approve the following from Thornton Construction Company for the Heights Drive Roadway & Drainage Improvements Project.1. Approve the Final Summary Change Order at a decrease of $13,141.49 in the project cost due to final project quantities and authorize the Mayor to execute the same.2. Approve Pay Request 6 FINAL, including the Final Summary Change Order, in the amount of $38,904.50 and authorize payment of the same.
  9. Consideration to accept the full satisfaction of the Resolution and Order adjudicating Clean Up Costs and Penalties related to the property located at 2043 Red Oak Drive (Tax Parcel #17M-1-650).
  10. Continuation of a Public Hearing started at the Regular Board Meeting on September 8, 2026 to consider the adoption of a Resolution Order adjudicating property located at 104 Appleridge Road as a menace to public health, safety, and welfare pursuant to Mississippi Code Section 21-19-11 and authorizing cleanup, securing, demolition, removal, and abatement as allowed by law.

  15. Consideration to approve the quote in the amount of $13,970.00 from Gilreath Construction for the installation of a new awning on the West and South ends of the City Shop building. A second quote was received from Roberson Construction int he amount of $17,700.00.
  16. Presentation of the Final Report for MOST Grant #1 -- Marquette Road Multi-Use Path
  17. Consideration for the following regarding the discontinuation of fluoride in the City of Brandon's water system - PWSID #: 0610003.1. Receive and consider public comments regarding the proposed discontinuation of fluoride treatment.2. Consideration to discontinue fluoride treatment in the City of Brandon water system and authorize staff to proceed with the remaining required steps through the Mississippi State Department of Health for the discontinuation process.
  18. Consideration to approve Pay Request 1 in the amount of $111,995.24 from Satcher Construction, LLC for the Quarry Trails MOSTF Improvement Project #3 and authorize payment of the same.
  19. Consideration to approve the overlay and striping of a portion of North Street and Lakeland Drive at commodity bid pricing not to exceed $165,000.00. The City of Brandon currently has commodity bids for asphalt through AJ Construction and striping through AR Fence.
  20. Consideration to approve the quote in the amount of $26,815.00 from Lewis Electric, Inc. for the replacement of the traffic signal cabinet at the intersection of Highway 18 at I-20 Eastbound due to a traffic accident on 6/11/2026. The repair cost has been turned over to the City Clerk's office to file an insurance claim.
  21. Consideration to approve the quote in the amount of $7,390.00 from Gilreath Construction for the replacement of the railing & ramp at the tennis court gazebo at City Park. A second quote was received from Roberson Construction in the amount of $9,712.50.
  22. Consideration to approve hiring the audit firm GranthamPoole to conduct the FY 26 single audit of the city and authorize the Mayor to execute the engagement letter.
  23. Consideration to authorize Entergy Mississippi, LLC to install above-ground electrical utility facilities along Grant’s Ferry Parkway to provide electrical service to Grants Ridge Subdivision, Phase 1, in accordance with Section 16-57 of the City of Brandon Development Ordinance and the attached request.
  24. Request consideration to apply for the FY 27 Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund (EMSOF) grant in the amount of $14,869.86 and authorize the Mayor, Finance Director, and Carolyn Palmer (Grant Administrator) to execute all related documents.

Jose Serra Construction, LLC is unable to perform the work as quoted in a timely manner and cannot provide a timeframe for which the work will be performed. 2. Award the quote in the amount of $32,475.00 to Hemphill Construction Company as the second lowest and best quote received for the project.
