Sponsor: Councilmember Melissa Robinson Appropriating $10,000.00 from the [Unappropriated Fund Balance of the ____ Fund, Fund No. ____] to support JuneteenthKC’s financial empowerment and wealth activity; directing the City Manager to propose up to $75,000.00 in submitted budgets for FY27-28 as sustained funding for JuneteenthKC; directing the City Manager to review Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund allocations over the past ten years and recommend 2027 budget policies to stabilize and invest in City heritage festivals with a ten-year or longer funding history with the City; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
