Sponsor: City Manager’s Office Accepting and approving the recommendation of the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri, as to the termination of the Briarcliff West Tax Increment Financing Plan and the termination of the designation of Redevelopment Project Area XXXVIII (38) described therein; acknowledging that the twenty-three-year statutory periods for the capture of tax increment financing within Redevelopment Project Areas I (1), V (5), VI (6), VII (7), VIII (8), IX (9), Xa (10a), Xb (10b), Xc (10c), XI (11), XII (12), XIII (13), XIV (14), XVIII (18), XIX (19), XX (20), XXI (21), XXII (22), XXIII (23), XXIV (24), XXV (25), XXVI (26), XXVII (27), XXVIII (28), XXIX (29), XXX (30), XXXI (31), XXXII (32), XXXIII (33), XXXIV (34), XXXV (35), XXXVI (36), and XXXVII (37) have expired; declaring as surplus those funds within the special allocation fund(s) established in connection with each such Redevelopment Project Area; dissolving the special allocation fund(s) established in connection with such Redevelopment Project Areas; and directing the City Clerk to send copies of this ordinance to Jackson County. “Advance and Do Pass as a Consent”
