Sponsor: Mayor Quinton Lucas COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE Partially exempting the City of Kansas City from the provisions of Section 311.2026, RSMo, which temporarily extends hours of operation for liquor licenses during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Tournament; waiving the requirements of Section 10-214, Code of Ordinances, entitled “Eligible neighbor and neighborhood organization notification” for the limited purposes of this ordinance; and requiring license holders operating until 5:00 a.m. to submit a security plan to the City and Kansas City Police Department by June 1, 2026.
