Sponsor: Director of Finance Department COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE Waiving the limitations established by the Fund Balance and Reserve Policy in Section 2-1954 of the Code of Ordinances; appropriating $5,000,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Convention and Tourism Fund (2360), to include $4,800,000.00 for expenditures related to hosting the World Cup, $100,000.00 to Illuminate KC, and $100,000.00 to provide support for the Metropolitan Arts Council of Greater Kansas City (“ArtsKC”); designating requisitioning authorities; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
