  1. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve purchase order change order #5 in the amount of $4,500 to the existing design services contract (PO#27000592) with Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting (RIC) for a revised contract amount not to exceed $159,272.50, and to authorize change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, for additional engineering services as part of the Leslie to Crane at Hereford Drainage Improvement Project (No. 132201).
  2. Council action is requested to approve a change order in the amount of $35,809 for tariff charges, increasing the total contract amount to $179,089, with Trench Limited for the purchase of twelve (12) 69 kV CCVT transformer replacements for Substation M for the Power & Light (IPL) Department.
  3. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute the extension of the Ceridian/Dayforce contract, to approve purchase order(s) in the amount of $360,000, and to authorize change orders of up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, for the continued use of the City's Human Capital Management System for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
  4. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a purchase order to, and a design contract with, Olsson Inc. for an amount not to exceed $2,480,933.73, and authorizing change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, for engineering design services as part of the 23rd Street Mobility & Safety Project (No. 112601).
  5. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a construction contract with Envirologics INC for an amount not to exceed $128,500, and authorizing change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, to replace the protective coating on Filter #10 at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant (CBWTP).
  6. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a construction contract with Smico Contracting Group LLC, for an amount not to exceed $405,038, and authorizing change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, as part of the Slaker #4 Replacement Project (No. 402702) at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant (CBWTP).
  7. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a construction contract with S4 Sales and Service for an amount not to exceed $140,000, and to authorize change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount, for the removal and installation of filter media beds on Filter #10 at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant (CBWTP).
  8. Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a construction contract with MegaKC for an amount not to exceed $2,746,000, and authorizing change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the authorized amount and any necessary time extensions, for the installation of two Rotary Drum Thickeners (RDT) at the Rock Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant (RCWWTP) as part of the Sludge Thickening Process Improvements Project (No. 302205).
  9. 26-091 <strong>1R</strong> An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a Sidewalk Improvement Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for the Truman Connected Phase 2 Project (Project No. 112401 / Federal Project No. CMAQ-3379(441) & CRP 3379(446)). 1R
  10. 26-772 A resolution authorizing acceptance of a grant award in the amount of $29,069.76 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Blue Shield Program, for the purchase of law enforcement equipment and supplies.
  11. Council action is requested to issue a blanket purchase order and to authorize change orders up to ten (10) percent of the authorized amount to GT Distributors in the amount of $179,296.90, for two hundred thirty-five (235) Glock 17 Gen 6 firearms with accessories for the Police Department.
  12. Council action is requested to authorize the issuance of purchase orders to Multi-States Electric in an amount not to exceed $180,000 for transformer repair and remanufacturing services for the Power & Light Department (IPL) during Fiscal Year 2026–2027, and to authorize change orders up to ten percent (10%) of the approved amount, provided sufficient appropriations are available.
  13. <span data-teams="true" data-pasted="true">Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to issue a purchase order(s) </span>in the amount of $113,409.31 to ImageTrend for an emergency reporting & report management system, to support the Fire Department in Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
  14. 26-098 <strong>1R</strong> An ordinance adopting amendments to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget, which was approved by Ordinance No. 19816; and authorizing the City Manager to execute change order #1 in the amount of $316,838 with Delta Innovative Services, Inc., and authorizing change orders of up to ten (10%) of the authorized amount, for a full roof replacement on Fire Station #1. 1R
  15. Council action is requested to approve the expenditure of $500,000, and to authorize change orders up to ten (10) percent of the authorized amount, with Consolidated Pipe and Supply for water meters and parts for the Municipal Services Department for fiscal year 2026-2027.

  21. 26-099 <strong>1R</strong> An ordinance authorizing the City Clerk to do all things necessary for the holding of a Special Election in Independence, Missouri, to fill the District 1 Councilmember vacancy, and to certify to the Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners all names of candidates properly presented by petitions. 1R
