- Consider Motion to Adopt * Ordinance No. 212 Approving Rezoning Change.The Council is being asked to give first reading to Ordinance No. 212 Approving the Rezoning of Seven (7) Parcels in Blocks 46, 47, and 48 of the City of Red Wing Original Plat to B-3 Central Business District. DSG, LLC, Wayzata, MN, has submitted an application to rezone a parcel at 101 Franklin Street from Light Industrial (I-1) District to Central Business (B-3) District. The applicant has an executed purchase agreement on the parcel. The Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission is also proposing the rezoning of six (6) additional, nearby, properties in Blocks 46, 47, and 48 of the City of Red Wing Original Plat based on future land use goals found in the Red Wing 2040 Plan. The parcels proposed for rezoning by the Planning Commission are currently zoned Mixed General & Central Business (B-2A) District, General Business (B-2) District, and Light Industrial (I-1) District. The proposed zoning for all parcels is B-3.
