- Motion to Approve a Request to Renew a Lease Agreement with Big Dog Daddy's Roadhouse for Signage Placement.The current lease with Big Dog Daddy's Campground for signage placement on City-owned property near the Red Wing Regional Airport will expire on March 8, 2026, and staff is requesting to renew the lease for an additional five years.
- Motion to Approve Amendment to the Private Hangar Lot Lease Agreement with David W. Francis III, Living Trust, at the Red Wing Regional Airport.On April 26, 2025, Council approved a hangar lot lease with David Francis for Block 12, Lots 5 & 6 at the Red Wing Regional Airport. When the lease was drafted and approved, construction had not been started. The private hangar is now substantially complete, and staff is requesting an amendment to the lease, which will now include improved square footage.
- Motion to Approve Contract with Traut Companies for the Charlson Crest Well 8-2 Rehabilitation Capital Improvement Project (CIP) in the Amount of $157,233.This project is necessary to complete rehabilitation work that was originally planned as part of a combined Well 8-1 and 8-2 project. Due to unanticipated major repairs required for Well 8-1, the full $150,000 budget was used in 2025, and rehabilitation of Well 8-2 was deferred to the 2026 CIP. In December 2025, the City solicited quotes for Well 8-2 and received three proposals, with Traut Companies submitting the lowest-cost quote. While the quoted amount exceeds the original CIP allocation, the final cost is expected to remain within budget due to either-or repair options.
