- Mayor Gary Iocco to administer the Oath of Office for Jessica Ahlbrecht, whose appointment to a partial term was adopted by the City Council on September 14, 2026. Jessica will be up for renewal on December 31, 2026 and then she can be appointed to her first full term of three years.
- Quzhou Delegation Visit Update - Staff received an e-mail on September 3, 2026, from Hu Yunpeng, Deputy Director of the Quzhou People's Assocaition for Friendship with Foreigh Countries, inviting us to visit in either April or May 2027. Staff shared this with the City Administrator and Mayor Iocco. The Mayor indicated he is open to that timeframe. No further information is available at this time.
- Ikata Student Exchange 2027 Report - Dani/Ashlyn/KellyUpdate on how the school open house went on August 27, 2026. Any committee meetings that have occurred or planned? Plans for students to write thank you's to donors and do presentations for the Legion, Noontime Kiwanis, & Elks as requested. </li><li>Plans for any additional promotion of the exchange opportunity? Are we showing the video at the HS or visiting classrooms? Open House/informational meeting? Deadline to apply is October 30, 2026. Plans to advertise for a chaperone or utilize a previous chaperone?Follow-up on parade banner pricing and promo items for use during grocery bagging. Who is working on a design for these items?
