1. Move to approve the new lease agreement between Muskegon County and the United States Coast Guard for continued occupancy of the hangar located at 186 West Sinclair Drive at Muskegon County Airport, effective September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2036, and authorize the Board Chair to execute the agreement.
2. Move to approve the open and closed session meeting minutes of August 20, 2026, and the closed session meeting minutes of August 27, 2026.
3. New Deputy Medical Examiners at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (Kathy Moore, Public Health Director)
4. Move to approve FY27 senior millage allocation to Senior Resources of West Michigan for the provision of State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) ($22,400), Purchased In-Home Services ($237,950) and Case Coordination & Support ($86,000) as recommended by the Senior Activities Committee; effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, at a cost not to exceed $346,350 and adjust the budget accordingly.
5. Move to approve the reclassification of position G09500 from Assessment Processing Specialist (pay grade 9) to Appraiser (pay grade 12) effective September 14, 2026, and adjust the budget accordingly.
6. Move to allocate $20,000 from the County Board Surplus Fund for the development and distribution of informational and educational materials related to the November 3, 2026 General Election Parks and Trails Millage Request and adjust the budget accordingly.
7. Move to approve and recommend to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission the application of Lee-Lee’s Crosswinds Cafe West, LLC for a new Class C license pursuant to MCL 436.1507, including Sunday Sales (AM and PM), for its restaurant operation located within the Muskegon County Airport passenger terminal and authorize the County Clerk to sign the required documents.
8. Move to approve 40 senior millage grant awards totaling $1,531,000 for FY27, effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, as recommended by the Senior Activities Committee; to authorize the designated Senior Millage Grants Administrator to proceed with the administration of the programs, and adjust the budget accordingly.
