(For Council’s review, the attached schedules present the gaming tax revenue activity through January 2017 and prior fiscal years. For the first seven months of the fiscal year the casinos have reported combined revenue growth of 1.51% compared with the prior year. Specifically, MGM’s receipts are up by 2.79%, Motor City’s are up by 1.55% and Greektown’s are down 0.83%, compared with the prior fiscal year.)
