Status of Law Department submitting Proposed Ordinance to amend Chapter 50 of the 1984 Detroit City Code, Streets, Sidewalks, and Other Public Places by amending Article VII. Opening, Closing, Extending, Widening, Vacating, Naming and Renaming of Streets and Assigning Secondary Names to Streets, Division 3. Secondary Naming of Streets, by reallocating duties of the Historic Designation Advisory Board and the Housing and Revitalization Department to the Legislative Policy Division and reducing the amount paid under Section 50-7-41, Procedure, from six hundred and sixty five dollars to four hundred dollars to reflect the decreased amount of work to verify petition signatures for the City Council initiated process.
