Submitting report relative to Final Submission of the Parks and Recreation Plan. (Approval of this plan by your honorable body will mean DPRD and GSD’s ability to seek grant funding not only to improve the parks and recreation centers one by one, but also to more creatively improve the conditions of our recreation system. We seek early 2017 approval so that this plan can be utilized for five years of state funding (as opposed to four if approved in late 2016) (REFERRED TO NEIGHBORHOOD AND COMMUNITY SERVICES STANDING COMMITTEE ON 1-12-17)
