(The Planning and Development Department entered into a Purchase Agreement dated October 3, 2016 with the Offeror. Under the terms of a proposed Purchase Agreement, the Property would be conveyed to the Offeror by Quit Claim Deed (the “Deed”) for Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred and Six no 00/100 Dollars ($16,206.00) (the “Purchase Price”). Offeror intends to secure and improve the property as parking adjacent their facility. The Property is presently zoned Planned Development District according to the City of Detroit zoning ordinance. As per section 61-3-113 (8) of the City of Detroit zoning ordinance, the Offeror’s intended use of the Property for Parking is not a permitted use under the zoning ordinance without the necessity of a rezoning, special exception, us permit, variance, or other approval. The Offeror shall apply for and obtain a rezoning of the Property or a special or conditional use permit or variance regarding the Property prior to closing and the consummation of this sale.)
