Submitting Proposed Ordinance to amend Chapter 41 of the 1984 Detroit City Code, Peddlers, Solicitors, and Vendors, Article II, Vending on Public Property, Division 1. Generally, by amending Sections 41-2-3 through 41-2-5 to delete existing language that prohibits sale of electronics and electrical items, and to add language that allows sales of cell phone chargers, including portable battery packs, cell phone ear buds, cell phone cases and protectors, small Bluetooth speakers, Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth transmitter interfaces, small portable MP3 players, ear chargers, tablet cases and protectors, secure digital (SD) cards, micro SD cards, auxiliary cords, cell phone charger cords, cell phone wall chargers, and universal serial bus (USB) cards and devices.
