(Council Member Mary Sheffield requested that the Legislative Policy Division (LPD) report on the status of pending State of Michigan legislation that would allow for libraries to be excluded from Brownfield tax captures. We have researched the issue and can now report on the status of the State Legislature’s pending library tax capture legislation.)
