- Resolution to approve the agreement between the City of Birmingham and Stryker. Further, to direct the Mayor to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
- Resolution to award the 2026 Sewer Rehabilitation Program #4-26(S) to Pamar Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $844,722.25 and a 10% construction contingency for a total of $929,194.48. In addition, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the agreement on behalf of the City contingent upon execution of the agreement and meeting all insurance and bond requirements by Pamar Enterprises, Inc.
- Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the Agreement for Legal Services, with Stag Liuzza, LLC for the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements as follows:<br><br data-pasted="true">WHEREAS, a civil action and/or claims in Aqueous Film-Forming Foams Litigation MDL No. 2873 (“AFFF”) the City of Birmingham (the “City”) is committed to delivering clean drinking water to its customers; and <br><br>WHEREAS, the City is also committed to taking reasonable steps to recover cost reimbursements that may be available in the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements and to reduce costs to its consumers; and<br> <br>WHEREAS, STAG LIUZZA, L.L.C., and City of Birmingham have put together a team of uniquely qualified and experienced attorneys (“the Firm”) who have joined together to assist public entities seeking to recover cost reimbursements that may be available in the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements; and <br><br>WHEREAS, the Firm is comprised of experienced attorneys in both in PFAS litigation and in the representation of public entities pursuing legal claims involving cost recovery in the drinking water settlements; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined it to be in the City’s best interest to enter into the Legal Services Agreement with the Firm and the filing of claims for the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements in the Aqueous Film-Forming Foams Litigation MDL No. 2873 (“AFFF”); and WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize the execution of the Agreement for Legal Services for the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission that the Manager of the City is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement for Legal Services for the 3M and DuPont Public Drinking Water Settlements based upon the terms and conditions set forth herein and, in a manner, substantially similar to the Agreement attached hereto.
- Resolution to award the North Old Woodward Project #8-26 (P) to F.D.M. Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $1,897,102.80 plus a 10% construction contingency for a total of $2,086,813.08. In addition, to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the agreement on behalf of the City, contingent upon meeting all the insurance and bond requirements by F.D.M. - Resolution to authorize the installation of a stop sign on southbound Warwick Street at Wimbleton Drive, to maintain the existing stop signs on the northbound and southbound sides of Poppleton Drive at Wimbleton and to remove the existing stop signs on eastbound and westbound Wimbleton Drive at Poppleton in the Wimbleton Phase 2 Project, Contract #6-26 (W).
- Resolution to adopt an ordinance amendment to Chapter 2 – Administration, Article II. City Commission, Sec. 2-26 – Regular Meetings.
- Resolution to adopt an ordinance amendment to Chapter 34 — Cemeteries, Article II.-Greenwood Cemetery Sec. 34-30. - Establishment of the Greenwood Cemetery advisory board.
