1. A. Congress Square Park (Cole, Hancock, Whipple): 1. Contract amendment #3 & MOU under review by Sarah Sze Studio. 2. Subcommittee updates and coordination with the Friends Capital Campaign Committee B. Conservation Projects – ACTIVE (Berke, Cole): 1. Jewell Box glass replacement – Staff in coordination with Jerry Alves of Port City Glass to replace two glass panels by June 7, 2024. 2. Playing Bears – Repair treatment completed and report provided by Tuckerbrook Conservation LLC. 3. Pullen fountain, “Czar Reed”, Miller statue, The Hiker, Kitson statue – Staff provided purchase order to Taggart Objects Conservation to proceed with a contract for a tentative June repair. 4. Loring Memorial - Maine Stone Scapes is under contract and will begin the project in June based on etching company delays. Todd Richardson, landscape architect has quote $500 to perform a site visit to relocate sentinel granite post replacement and boulders. ADDITIONAL ITEM – A vehicle struck the vantage boulders located within the circle on May 18, 2024, Staff has requested an additional service quote from Maine Stone Scapes to reset and anchor the boulders into the existing concrete foundation. 5. Tidal Moon - Jesse Salisbury to perform repair in mid-June directly on site at the Jetport. 6. Passing the Torch – Staff in coordination with lighting programmer Jay Lehaurt to share updates on the artwork lighting malfunctions. Spot light replacement parts are ordered, awaiting install by electrical contractor. 7. Rustle Diptych II – (2) stem lights have gone missing, Staff is in coordination with Parks department and has requested electrical company quotes. Existing fixtures are unknown, Staff is requesting PPAC input to determine appropriate light replacement.
