Agency Briefing - Department of Public Works - Bureau of Water and Wastewater For the purpose of calling on pertinent agency representatives of the Department of Public Works, including senior management of the Water and Wastewater Utilities to brief the City Council on the current operations of the systems, its financial performance through the 2nd quarter of the current fiscal year (FY24); financial projections through the end of the current fiscal year, update on staffing and vacancies and impact of recent position reclassifications, status report on outstanding maintenance issues, efforts to improve delinquencies and collection efforts and any other improvement efforts currently underway. The presentation is to include a status report on any/all discussions or plans to regionalize the systems and the impact to the City.
