- <strong id="isPasted">ORDERED: </strong>That the sum of Sixty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Twelve Cents ($66,715.12) be hereby appropriated from the Golf Course “Receipts Reserved for Appropriation” account (Fund 2436) and transferred to the following Park & Rec – Golf Course account below for the Hydraulic Equipment purchase of a Greensmaster Toro TriFlex 33000 in accordance with the recommendation of His Honor the Mayor. - Second Passage of the following Bond Order:ORDERED: That the City hereby appropriates Three Million Six Hundred Eighteen Thousand Four HundredNinety-One Dollars ($3,618,491.00) to pay costs of designing and replacing the roof at the BatesElementary School located at 53 Liberty Hill Ave, Salem, Massachusetts, including all costs incidental orrelated thereto (the "Project"), which proposed repair project would materially extend the useful life ofthe school and preserve an asset that otherwise is capable of supporting the required educational<br>programs, and for which the City may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building<br>Authority (the "MSBA"), said amount to be expended under the direction of the School Building<br>Committee; that to meet this appropriation the Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor, is authorized<br>to borrow said amount pursuant to G.L. c. 44 or c.70B, or pursuant to any other enabling authority, and<br>to issue bonds or notes of the City therefor; that the City acknowledges that the MSBA's grant program<br>is a non-entitlement, discretionary program based on need, as determined by the MSBA, and any<br>project costs the City incurs in excess of any grant approved by and received from the MSBA shall be the<br>sole responsibility of the City; and that the amount of borrowing authorized by this vote shall be<br>reduced by any grant amount set forth in the Project Funding Agreement that may be executed<br>between the City and the MSBA.FURTHER ORDERED, that the Mayor and the Treasurer are each authorized to file an applicationto qualify under Chapter 44A of the Massachusetts General Laws any and all bonds of the City issuedunder and pursuant hereto, and to provide such information and execute such documents as may berequired in connection therewith
