Order for a hearing regarding the transition and operations of the new City Planning Department. On motion of Councilors Murphy and Fernandes Anderson, Rule 12 was invoked to include Councilor Mejia as an original co-sponsor. Referred to the Committee on Government Operations. Councilor Murphy doubted the decision of the Chair, recommending that the docket be referred to the Committee on Planning, Development & Transportation. Seconded by Councilor Flynn. A roll call vote was conducted to determine if the decision of the Chair should prevail. The decision of the Chair prevailed; yeas 7, nays 4 (FitzGerald, Flynn, Mejia, Murphy), present 1 (Fernandes Anderson). Remains in the Committee on Government Operations.
