An Ordinance amending Section 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, relating to the keeping of certain animals, as follows: amending Section 4-11(a) to prohibit the keeping of more than one (1) rooster within any area of the urban county except those zoned agricultural; amending Section 4-11(b) to increase the penalty amount to not more than one hundred dollars ($100); and amending Section 4-12(b) to increase the penalty amount for the keeping of noisy animals to not more than one hundred dollars ($100), all effective November 1, 2025.
