CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION FOR GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $740,966.15 FOR KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH TIYOSPAE, INC. (DBA HIGHER GROUND) FOR SUBSTANCE TREATMENT/PEER MENTORING SERVICES AND A MOU WITH COMCARE FOR THERAPIST/CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES. Presented by: Glenda Martens, Director, Sedgwick County Department of Corrections RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the application for the grant, and if awarded authorize acceptance of the grant, the establishment of budget authority as provided in the Financial Considerations section of this Request, and authorization to enter into contract with Tiyospaye, Inc. (DBA Higher Ground) for substance treatment /peer mentoring services and a MOU with COMCARE for therapist/case management services.
