ACCEPT THE BRIGGS MEMORIAL FUND DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,920.00 FOR THE SEDGWICK COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT 1 R&D FUND, AS WELL AS ACCEPTING PREVIOUS DONATIONS, ISSUING A LETTER OF APPRECIATION FOR THOSE DONATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF ANY FUTURE DONATIONS TO THE MEMORIAL. Presented by: Larry Tangney, Deputy Fire Chief. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the acceptance of the donation; authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of appreciation and the establishment of budget authority as provided in the Financial Considerations section of this Request; and authorize acceptance of future donations to the Memorial.
