Recommending FIRST READING of Bill 69, CD1 (2023), to: 1) authorize the Director of Finance to acquire real property or easements without Council approval if the conveyance is approved by the Mayor and is required by a grant agreement under Section 3.88.070, Maui County Code; and 2) require the provisions in grant agreements to land conservation organizations under Section 3.88.070, Maui County Code, to specify that Council approval be obtained by resolution.
