  1. The General Services and Cultural Affairs Departments request approval to enter into an agreement with Atlanta Sound Works, Inc. to provide audiovisual solutions for city facilities. The agreement is a” piggyback” of the State of Contract #99999-SPD-SPD0000210-0004, issued by the State of Georgia. The contract is for a total amount not exceeding $500,000, with the option to renew for additional terms on a year-to-year basis by giving the Contractor written notice of the renewal decision at least sixty days prior to the expiration of the initial term or renewal term.
  2. The Information Technology Department is requesting the Council to approve the contract renewal for our Geographical Information Systems with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI), Contract Number 99999-AWP02242017-0001 for an annual total not to exceed $95,000 and the option to renew for 2 years. The contract will be effective upon council approval and signature processing and expires 12 months from the date the agreement is signed. The scope of services for contract 99999-AWP02242017-0001 is for Geographical Information System (GIS) services. Upon Council approval, staff will process a purchase order for $87,600, budgeted in fiscal year 2025.
  3. The Police Department request approval to purchase a National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) machine from Forensic Technology, Inc utilizing federal funds from FY24 OJP Bryne Discretionary Grant for a total price of $251,739.00. No matching funds needed.
  4. Pursuant to the City Council's acceptance of a FY2024 Congressional Grant for $805K at the 9/26/23 Meeting (Item #23), the Police Department requests ratification approval to purchase ten 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe for SFPD sworn staff from Hardy Chevrolet Buick GMC for a unit cost of $54,655.70 and a total cost not to exceed $546,557.00, utilizing grant funding from the FY2024 OJP Bryne Discretionary Grant from Rep. David Scott - US Congress. (GA Contract #99999-001-SPD000183-0002).
  5. <p style="color: rgb(14, 16, 26); background: transparent; margin-top:0pt; margin-bottom:0pt;" id="isPasted"><span data-preserver-spaces="true" style="color: rgb(14, 16, 26); background: transparent; margin-top:0pt; margin-bottom:0pt;">The Police Department requests Council approval to purchase 50 new portable radios and 69 in-car radios from Motorola for new officers and vehicles. The total cost is $795,892.43, which covers the device and programming. This vendor is registered with Sourcewell, and their contract number is 042021-MOT. The City of South Fulton is a member of Sourcewell, and our ID number is 177950.This funding is budgeted in the Traffic Camera Fund #212.
  6. The Public Works Department is requesting the City Council’s approval of the first amendment of City Contract ITB 23-85 Fairburn Road Improvement Project Phase II awarded to SD&C Inc. on February 13, 2024. The Contractor has provided a Value Engineering proposal that allows for a cost credit of approximately $117,438.80 and the amendment provides for an update on the scope of services for materials, and bridge design.
  7. The Public Works Department is requesting the City Council’s approval to “Piggyback” the term Master Service Agreement (MSA) pursuant to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to develop a Stormwater Master Plan (SWMP) & Feasibility Study with Integrated Science and Engineering Inc. and the City of South Fulton, authorizing the Mayor to execute the same; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all administrative and budgetary actions related to the Agreement for a total amount, not to exceed, of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00). American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding will be utilized to develop the SWMP & Feasibility Study.
