- The Fire & Rescue Department is requesting Council Approval to purchase (1) E ONE Haz Mat Apparatus for $1.1 million. The expected delivery date is not to exceed 36 months (January 2027). The quote and purchase are through SourceWell. Funding was approved by the council in FY 2025 and shown in FY 2026.
- The Fire & Rescue Department is requesting Council Approval to purchase one (1) 2024 Fouts Fire 3000 Gallon Tanker in the amount of $427,000. The quote was obtained using the corporate buying agreement HGAC Buy. The funding is allocated in FY CIP 2025 budget 3520-54-2200.
- The Fire & Rescue Department is requesting Council approval to purchase 100 sets of Firefighter Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), also referred to as Turnout Gear, from NAFECO, utilizing the NPP.Gov contract. The PPE will consist of Firefighter coats, pants, hoods, helmets, gloves, boots, and other accessories. The cost of the 100 sets should not exceed $500,000. The funds are located in FY 2025 Operating budget 3520-54-2500.
