(Public Hearing) TA26-003 An Ordinance To Amend The City Of South Fulton Zoning Ordinance, As Amended, To Repeal Ordinance 2024-034 And Replace With An Ordinance To Regulate The Development And Operation Of Data Centers Within The City Of South Fulton; To Establish Zoning, Permitting, Population Limits, And Performance Standards; To Protect Public Infrastructure And NeighborhoodsStaff Recommendation: ApprovalPlanning Commission Recommendation: Approval with the following conditions: 1. Restrict data centers to M-2 districts rather than M-1 and M-2. 2. Require the utility-capacity letter within 90 days. 3. Require developers to repair property or infrastructure damage caused by development. 4. Encourage utility towers and related equipment to be screened or placed away from prominent public views. 5. Add a reference to or requirement concerning solar power. 6. Include glycol cooling as an available cooling option. 7. Change the minimum lot size from 20 acres to 10 acres.
