Juneteenth Celebration A motion to approve 1) the temporary street closures of North and East Park Square from 2:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Lawrence St (Cherokee St. to Waddell St) from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2014, 2) the waiver of park use and supervision fees, and 3) the provision of sanitation services for this year’s event for activities from Friday night through Sunday afternoon evening, June 13-15, 2014 as part of the city’s 150th Commemoration events of the Battles of Marietta.
