Proclamation - Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) Mayor Tumlin presents a Proclamation to Jennifer Hernadez, Principal of MCAA. MCAA is a unique elementary magnet school in the Marietta City School District. This Proclamation honors MCAA for their numerous successes including being named a 2010 and 2012 Georgia School of Excellence, the 2011 Georgia Student Achievement Platinum Award Winner, and the 2013 US Department of Education national Blue Ribbon School, having the highest performing school in the state of Georgia on the College and Career Readiness Performance Index in 2012.
