House of Lu - 89 Cherokee Street The applicant is requesting a certificate of approval for the following: 1. Six new awnings measuring 3' x 6' with a 2' separation between each awning. The awnings are triangular shaped and will be covered in a black Sunbrella fabric. 2. A new Blade/Projection double-faced HUD sign that measures 54" in diameter. The sign will be primed and painted in three colors: white, black, and reddish orange. The sign will be mounted to a custom aluminum bracket to fit the back of the sign. The distance between the projecting sign and the ground is 7' 6" (no change) 3. A new House of Lu logo sign on one of the awnings. It will be on the awning above the front door. The design will be the same as the blade projection sign; the colors will be white and reddish orange and the size will be similar to the blade/projecting sign or in porportion to the space on the awning. 4. A menu board display measuring approximately 20" x 24" to be installed at eye level between the two awnings. (Applicant has stated this may be orange in color) The applicant has also requested a certificate of approval for a new wall sign on the side of the building facing Hansel Street.
