Board consideration and authorization for the Sheriff's Office to apply for a Petco Love Animal Welfare Grant in the amount of $75,000.00 with no required match to purchase diagnostic equipment for the Pet Adoption and Resource Center (PARC). Staff requests this Item be considered on a "Time Sensitive" basis – Chief of Staff, Sheriff’s Office
3. Board consideration and authorization for the Sheriff's Office to apply for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) FY25 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $13,443 with a match of $2,507 to purchase ten Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). Staff requests this Item be considered on a "Time Sensitive" basis - Chief of Staff, Sheriff's Office
4. Board consideration and approval of a single-source purchase with Vulcan Materials Asphalt and Construction, LLC in the amount of $45,000.00 for repair services on Old Federal Bridge. In addition, staff seeks approval of an associated budget resolution to cover the cost of additional aggregate materials and repairs necessitated by recent significant weather events impacting the bridge. The total funding request is $80,000.00. Staff requests this Item be considered on a "Time Sensitive" basis - Deputy Director, Department of Engineering
