1. Approval for Douglas County Sheriff's Office to renew the City of Chattahoochee Hills Inmate Housing Agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending legal review.
2. Approval to enter into an annual supplementary purchase agreement with ZOLL Medical Corporation for consumables and accessories for capital equipment with no impact to the budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
3. Approval for the State and Superior Courts to enter into a new agreement with Catalis for the Case Management System Payment Processing Upgrade, which transitions the courts to the new Catalis Checkout Portal and associated POS equipment with no impact to the budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review. ​
4. Approval of a contract with Daikin Applied Americas, Inc. for a maintenance agreement at the Boundary Waters Aquatic Center in the amount of $14,092.33, to be funded by the Parks and Recreation Aquatic budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
5. Approval to renew yearly maintenance and subscription agreement with SHI for JAMF Mobile Device Management (MDM) and software support on Douglas County BOC Digital Network Infrastructure in the amount of $52,039.42 to be funded by the Information Services Department budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
6. Approval for the Magistrate Court to enter into an agreement with Catalis for the Case Management System Payment Processing Upgrade, reflecting the transition to the new Catalis Checkout Portal and issuance of four POS devices, with no impact to the County budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
7. Approval to update contract with Docusign Inc in the amount of $2,527.20 for 500 additional envelopes due to increased usage, to be funded by the General appropriations account and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
8. Approval of a corrective total amount for the previously approved Comcast Smart Solutions contract for Eagle Eye Avigilon video management hardware in the amount of $1,796.40, (Difference of $46.70) with the total monthly service amount remaining unchanged at $149.70 and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
9. Approval of Renewal of the Annual JCATS Juvenile Case Management System with no impact to the budget to support juvenile case processing, reporting, and data management for the Juvenile Court and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
10. District 1 Commissioner Henry Mitchell III invites residents to attend the next Coffee & Conversation on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lithia Springs Senior Center. Coffee & Conversation is an ongoing community engagement initiative that provides residents with an opportunity to meet directly with Commissioner Mitchell in an informal setting to discuss issues that matter most to Douglas County. This month's conversation will focus on Public Safety and Community Engagement, while also allowing attendees to ask questions, share concerns, and offer ideas that contribute to building a stronger community.Commissioner Mitchell continues to work to raise awareness about Prostate Cancer in commemoration of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, an observance dedicated to increasing public knowledge of the most common non‑skin cancer in American men and the second leading cause of cancer‑related death among men. He’ll share important information and updates as part of his Blue Legacy Campaign each week leading up to the national observance in September. The Blue Legacy Campaign is designed to create a legacy of awareness, prevention, and hope for future generations.Douglas County families are invited to join District 1 Commissioner Henry Mitchell III, Fit for the Future and community partners for a free Back 2 School Book Bag Give Away in Douglasville on Sunday, July 26 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 800 book bags will be given on a first come, first served basis at U Got Next, 2121 Fairburn Rd., Douglasville, GA 30134. This family friendly event is designed to help students start the school year prepared with essential supplies while connecting parents to local community resources and supporters. September Saturdays will return with two weekends of community celebration and family fun. Join us in celebrating Douglas County Senior Services as a winner of the National Council on Aging’s National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) 2026 Program of Excellence Award. The department’s innovative program, “Grown Folks Talk: Sex Education for Older Adults,” earned top recognition in the Health, Wellness, and Nutrition category. Douglas County Libraries also won an achievement award for the Popup Library Bookmobile & STEM Outreach Initiative, and Parks and Recreation received an achievement award for Christmas to Remember. Congratulations to these departments for their outstanding work and achievements!Douglas County, in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission, the City of Douglasville, and Pond & Company, has launched the Douglas County Freight Cluster Plan to identify freight needs and develop strategies that support safety, mobility, and economic growth. Public meetings will be announced soon, giving residents an opportunity to learn about freight activity, share concerns, and help shape future transportation plans. 11. Approval to accept the FY27 Family Connections Grant award as Fiscal Agent in the amount of $56,250 with no match, for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for Douglas CORE, establish the budget and authorize the Chairman to sign all related documents pending final legal review.
