1. <strong>Associate Juvenile Court Judge (Part-Time Contract Position)</strong><br>Consideration for approval for the addition of a part-time contract/non-employee Associate Juvenile Court Judge starting January 1, 2025. The position is needed to cover the court’s increasing caseload and the additional cases that will be added as a result of the new West Georgia Judicial Circuit. The position will be paid for through: 1) additional State grant money that Carroll and Heard Counties will receive after the creation of the new circuit; 2) the re-allocation of money already in the Juvenile Court budget; and 3) less than $1,000.00 in additional county funds.-Judge Tom Parmer, Juvenile Court
2. <strong>Recreation Outdoor Lighting RFP <br></strong>Consideration of proposals for RFP (REC-2024-A004) for the renovation of outdoor stadium lights for the Recreation Complex, located at 1201 Newnan Road, Carrollton, Georgia, and authorize the Chairman to negotiate and execute the contract and take all other actions in connection with the project. This project will replace the old HID light bulbs and fixtures with new LED athletic field lighting, supports and accessories. Funds have been set aside ​in Capital Improvements for this project.-Thad Ferguson, Recreation Director
