- <strong>Solid Waste-Equipment Purchase</strong><br>Approval for the purchase of nine (9) total trash compactors at a cost not to exceed $400,000 including equipment and construction costs, funded from General Fund-fund balance and installed by Public Works, and to authorize the Chairman to negotiate and execute the contract and to take all necessary actions in connection with the project. Installations shall be as follows: three (3) self-contained compactors at John Tanner Park, Little Tallapoosa Park, and McIntosh Reserve; four (4) stationary compactors at the Tyus, Lowell, New Hope Rd., and Kansas-Jake Rd. convenience centers; and two (2) stationary compactors as cardboard compactors at Dyer Rd. and Temple convenience centers.-Danny Yates, Public Works Director
