Request Board approval to ratify a grant application to the U.S. Department of Transportation for the Fiscal Years 2025 and 2026 Advanced Transportation and Innovation Competitive Grant Program requesting $8,452,000 for purchase and installation of safety equipment for traffic signals including Connecting Vehicle (CV) Road Side Units, Intersection Movement Cameras (IMCs), CCTV Cameras, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and expansion of the Scout program for a dedicated corridor route from the City of Altamonte Springs SunRail station to the University of Central Florida; and authorize the County Manager or designee to execute all grant documents.
