SET HEARING: (LDCT-2026-17 Chapter 9 Text Changes) to consider an amendment to the Polk County Land Development Code; Chapter 9, Section 902 to specify resolutions to code violations; Section 905 to remove the mandatory DRC attendance requirement for Level 2 applications; Sections 907 and 912 to clarify the pre-application requirement for Comprehensive Plan Amendments; Section 916 to provide standards for infrastructure agreements; Section 919 to provide standards for pre-application meetings; Section 920 to provide instructions for pre-design meetings; Section 922 to remove time restrictions on withdrawing a De Novo application; Section 972 to update Development Review Committee membership; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. The suggested hearing dates are for the first reading on October 6, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. and the adoption hearing date on October 20, 2026, at 9:15 a.m.
