Adopting a policy governing the naming, renaming, and co-naming of City-owned buildings, parks, and facilities; Confirming that the naming of a City facility is a legislative act of the City Commission undertaken at the City's own initiative; Adopting as the standard of the City the prohibition set forth in Section 267.062, Florida Statutes, against naming public facilities for living persons; Establishing initiation, review, and public hearing procedures; Directing the City Manager and City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance codifying this policy.
