Honoring the life and service of former Key West Fire Chief Edwin "Eddie" Castro; Recognizing his more than three (3) decades of service to the Key West Fire Department and the community; Acknowledging his role in modernizing the City's fire protection capabilities, training and emergency response systems; Directing Fire Station #3 be named the "Edwin 'Eddie' Castro Fire Station" in his honor; Authorizing the installation of appropriate signage and recognition.
