Recommending that the City Commission increase green inventory of canopy trees by obtaining grant funding; Recommending initiation of programs to encourage the planting of canopy trees; Recommending that the City set a goal to increase green inventory; Recommending that the Urban Forestry Division be adequately funded and staffed to meet these goals; Recommending the City Manager determine and allocate the exact funding to facilitate these request for Fiscal Year 25-26; Providing for an effective date.
