A resolution supporting ‘The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary: A Restoration Blueprint’ (“Restoration Blueprint”) proposed by the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (“FKNMS”), including expanding sanctuary boundaries, strengthening protections for corals and other sensitive habitats and addressing stressors to make the ecosystem more resilient; urging the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency (“NOAA”), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (“FDEP”) and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (“FWC”) to prioritize the Restoration Blueprint and allocate necessary funding; directing the City Clerk to provide copies of this Resolution to Governor Ron DeSantis, Secretary Shawn Hamilton for FDEP and Exec Director Roger A.
